Oklahoma State’s Perrish Cox Suspended for Cotton Bowl

... Ole Miss in the Cotton Bowl. Cox was suspended today by head coach Mike Gundy after violating team rules. 

Cox now leaves Oklahoma State's secondary even more depleted then after losing Andrew McGee to injury. 

Cox made a statement on his Facebook page saying, "Im officially not playing in the bowl game."

The loss of Cox now puts Oklahoma State's special teams in a hole as he was one of the most dynamic returners in the country. 

Oklahoma State sent a press release out confirming the suspension of Cox.  It stated only that he violated the teams curfew rule. 

Cox later said on his Facebook page that he was only thirty minutes past curfew because of New Years Eve traffic.
