Ohio State Vs. Texas: Why Fans Should Want to See This More Often

... Texas Longhorns had never played against each other in each of the teams long and successful histories.

Texas was ranked second in the nation with a strong Heisman Trophy candidate in Vince Young.

Ohio State was ranked fourth and was a strong defensive powerhouse of a team with some uncertainty of who was going to play quarterback for them.

It was supposed to be one of the biggest games of the year, and it certainly was. It came down to a couple of late turnovers by Ohio State for the Longhorns to come from behind and for Vince Young to prove he had what it takes to win big games.
