... ranked USC and eighth ranked BYU both got surprised this weekend, losing to unranked opponents. The pollsters took notice of it by dropping them both in the B/R poll this week. Some other highlights to note:

- Miami made the biggest jump, moving up eight spots after beating 14th ranked Georgia Tech, to ninth.

- Utah was just held out of the Top 25, dropping 10 spots after losing to Oregon.

- Washington’s win over third ranked USC only garnered them six points in the voting, placing them as the 31st ranked team.
