... Big East recently voted to expand to ten football playing members.  Rumors abound that TCU and UCF are two of the favored candidates.

Rumors also abound that these invitations could be for football-only.

Both schools have stated that they do not want to be football-only members of the Big East.

If the Big East refuses to offer full membership, TCU needs to reject the invitation and stay in the Mountain West Conference.

This seems contrary to reason, because TCU would be giving up a spot in an automatic qualifying conference and a much easier route to the BCS every year.

TCU would be playing on ESPN rather than Versus, CBS College Sports, and the MTN.
