Michigan Thursday: Recruiting Blitz

If your not familiar with over-signing, it's the practice of taking too many recruits for your open scholarship spots, predicting that some of your kids will not qualify. An example would be taking 30 kids for 25 spots and the possibility for having five kids without scholarships who you would have to cut if they can't afford to pay their own way.

Coach Saban at Alabama has been a regular in over-signing and now a Michigan man at LSU is practicing the same thing and just had a cut a kid that was already in his dorm.
