Temple's strong play from last week's trouncing of Buffalo continued as the Owls jumped on the Easter Michigan Eagles with a 21-0 lead. Freshman Bernard Pierce was once again the offense's spark plug, rushing for 180 yards and two touchdowns.
As a team, Temple rushed for 242 yards. Quarterback Vaughn Charlton added a second quarter touchdown for good effort.
