MAC Attack: Temple Rolls on EU To Remain Undefeated in MAC

... a win. Especially since, in the last couple of decades, wins for the Owls have come sparingly. As so, it's difficult not to get a wee bit giddy now that the Owls have racked up two consecutive conference wins.

Temple's strong play from last week's trouncing of Buffalo continued as the Owls jumped on the Easter Michigan Eagles with a 21-0 lead. Freshman Bernard Pierce was once again the offense's spark plug, rushing for 180 yards and two touchdowns.

As a team, Temple rushed for 242 yards. Quarterback Vaughn Charlton added a second quarter touchdown for good effort.

The winless Eagles were stifled by the Owls' defense. They managed only 50 rushing yards and didn't score a touchdown until there was 1:39 left in the game. Temple's ...
