Mea  culpa: We watched the bowl games, too. We saw Miami lay an egg against Wisconsin, however, the Big 10 really showed something this bowl season, so it is not as unfortunate as we originally thought.

As for the Pac-10 and Oregon, we apologize! Based on the bowl results, the Pac-10 was vastly overrated, even by us! It seems like every Pac-10 team thought that a victory over a freshman led USC team made their season.  Sorry Oregon, you have to step up to earn it. Maybe a playoff would have bought out a better effort in the first...
