After contracting amebic dysentery during pregnancy, Tebow's mother, Pam, slipped into a brief coma which led doctors to advise Pam to undergo an abortion.  Pam and her husband, being pro-life advocates, decided to have the child, and so "Timmy" was born.

It might not match being born in a manger to a virgin mother, but it might be as close as you can get.
