A few months ago, I lost my phone. I called Tracfone, my service provider, and told them of the situation. They did a great job at shutting off my phone.
A few months later, thanks to my efforts, I managed to recover my phone and I wish for it to be reactivated. Initially they wanted me to buy some minutes, in order to reactivate the phone; OK I did that. Now they want me to wait three days for them to mail me a new SIM card. I'd said "screw that" and chose to buy a new phone.
When I bought the new phone and tried to activate it, it'd read,"SIM card rejected." I called customer service again for assistance, once again, they'd give me the run around.
