FSU Defensive Coordinator Mickey Andrews Announces Retirement

... Florida State's Mickey Andrews announced his plans to retire today after this season. Although Andrews informed FSU that this would most likely be his final season on the sidelines, his announcement comes on the heels of one of FSU's worst years on defense.

The Seminoles have the worst defense in the ACC, giving up 29.8 points and 428.9 yards per game. They are also ranked 109th in the country in total defense. This is the primary reason why the Seminoles are 4-4 and in jeopardy of having one of their worst seasons during the Bowden Era.
