Georgia (3-1, 2-0 in the SEC) and coach Mark Richt continued their dominance against non-conference opponents, running their record to 35-4.

1. The Georgia Defense Returned To Form
The defense finally woke up after a two-week coma. The Georgia defense only gave up 88 yards rushing on 28 carries, but the biggest improvement was in the pass defense.
Arizona State quarterback Danny Sullivan was 10-of-32 for only 116 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
