... in the past many years. From Joe Flacco (pictured), to Boise State, to Jim Tressel the FCS is a great set up man for the FBS and yes sometimes the NFL. But the best thing that the FCS does for both FBS members and FCS members is developing quality programs that can compete in the FBS. While yes there have been blunders, like Western Kentucky and Arkansas State, there have also been great successes like Boise State and Louisiana Tech. Now that its been few few years since the FCS has been poached and I think its ripe for the picking. While I know that upgrading to the FBS is more complicated than I am laying out, schools and conferences can still see that there is talent in the lower ranks that can benefit from the move.
