Today, the MWC decided to give Boise State an invitation. BSU will be the 10th team in the conference. They bring improvement to the MWC athletic competition, as well as on-par academics.
Does this start the MWC's expansion to a 12 or 16 team conference? It's likely. Does the expansion do enough so they can become a BCS conference? It's actually possible—although it does make the evaluation process more complicated with all the shifting that is about to happen.
