The first quarter looked great and I thought we would be able to handily defeat the University of Connecticut. However, apathy set in on the Notre Dame offense and we were outscored 17-3 going into the fourth quarter.
The play calling in this game said it all about the Weis era of Fighting Irish football. With such a talented receiving core and an excellent arm in Jimmy Clausen, why are they not airing it out? Short yardage pass...
