Newton is a ridiculous athlete. So far this season he has thrown for 2,038 yards and 21 touchdowns, along with 17 rushing touchdowns just for good measure. He has a 183.58 quarterback rating, and is without a doubt the most valuable player on this Auburn team.

But a dark cloud has been cast over Newton and Auburn University as allegations have surfaced regarding Newton's (alleged) attempts to obtain illegal payment for his commitment to Mississippi State University.
