Why all of a sudden are the BSU football scholarships at such a high premium?

Perhaps that’s because there are only five of them this year.

A Division One football program will generally have a fairly consistent number of scholarships to offer year-in and year-out.

Oddly, that's not the case at Boise State in 2010.

Over the past five years, BSU has offered 16 to 21 scholarships per year with the lone exception being 2007 when they awarded 30 scholarships. So why only five recruits this year?
