Boise State Announces Gift to Move Forward in Football Stadium Expansion

... million gift from the David and Debra Larsen Huber Foundation in honor of Debra's mother, Dona.

The money will be used to renovate property taken over by the university this summer. A local, vacant junior high school currently sits on the land. Dona Larsen taught PE at the junior high for 30 years.

The site will be used to host Boise State Track events as well as Boise area high school football games. Both are both currently held at Bronco Stadium.

The university hopes to start construction later this year and plans to have it completed by 2011.

The school needs an additional $3 million to complete the project.
