... of the Week Bernard Pierce continued his record-setting season Saturday in a 24-19 win over Ball State. Pierce became the first freshman in school history to rush for 100 yards in consecutive games last week, and added a third 100-yard rushing game against the Cardinals. 

Pierce rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Owls to their third straight win and remain undefeated in conference play. Both of Pierce's touchdowns came at pivotal moments in the contest. Temple led 10-0 at the half but allowed 13 unanswered points in the third quarter. Pierce's two short-yard runs late in the third and fourth quarters sealed the Owls' victory.
