The Oklahoma Sooners sits atop the rankings, something that could be seen as a surprise to some. Behind them are the Oregon Ducks and the Boise State Broncos. The unbeaten Auburn Tigers and TCU Horned Frogs round out the top 5.

These rankings, however, will be very different when we look back at the end of the season, and I see numerous scenarios for what could happen. First off, the Oklahoma Sooners will not be No. 1 at the end of the season.
