Baylor Football: Griffin Opts For Surgery, Preps For Rehabilitation

Griffin injured his right knee in Baylor’s victory over Northwestern State last month, throwing three touchdown passes while hurt and leading the Bears to a 41-10 halftime lead before being taken out of the game.

“Well, tomorrow reality sets in,” Griffin stated on his Facebook page on Monday morning, Oct. 12.

With the season-ending surgery now behind him, Griffin can now prepare for his road to recovery through sports rehabilitation.

“[I am] going in hurt, but feel like I’m healed; coming out healed but feel like I’m hurt,” Griffin’s Facebook status read on Tuesday morning.
