... people want a playoff in college football, it's called the regular season.  That being said, with the way the college football season has gone so far, a playoff would be a very exciting and appropriate scenario.  But that's an argument for a different day. 

If there was a playoff, the ACC would field only one team, and it would likely be Virginia Tech.  The Hokies are once again the favorite to take home the ACC title after another crazy weekend.  What's even crazier is Virginia Tech's biggest rival gave them a huge boost this weekend.
