... linebacker Travis Hughes, ranked as a top 10 middle linebacker by both Scout and Rivals, has drawn tremendous interest from all over the country, but he's narrowed his options down to a few selections.

After a trip to Virginia Tech in September, Hughes was scheduled to take a trip to LSU last weekend, but cancelled the trip without setting a new date. 

Also on the schedule are Clemson, Maryland, North Carolina, and possibly Virginia. 

The reasons for Hughes' cancellation on LSU are unknown, but it might have to do with his recent trip to Blacksburg and a rejuvenated interest in Virginia.
