NCAA Has Soft Spot for USC: Allows Hawaii Game To Play as Scheduled!

... not much to say here except the truth; and the truth is that when it comes to the Golden Child of college football, the NCAA will always have a soft spot in its heart for Southern Cal.

When the NCAA handed the penalty down to USC, it was to take effect immediately.  Part of the penalty stated that the Trojans could only play 12 games in each of the next two seasons, now the NCAA has a change of heart.

USC senior vice president Todd Dickey announced earlier today that the NCAA will let the Trojans play a 13th game in the 2010 football season. 

Southern California was talking about dropping the September 2 game in Hawaii, but thanks to the weak powers that be, they don't have to.
