Mike Williams (junior), was having an excellent season, compiling 746 yard on 49 catches, and six touchdowns in seven games for the Orange. Williams was suspended for Syracuse's game against Akron two weeks ago for undisclosed reasons, but did play this past Saturday against No. 5 Cincinnati, catching 3 passes for 24 yards.
Williams was removed from the team after the 2007 season for academic reasons, and was allowed to come back to the University in the Spring of 2009 under new head coach Doug Marrone.
