... 12 North quite so early! I might be exaggerating, considering it was only Kansas State over Iowa State (by a single point, none the less), but both came as very pleasant surprises to me. I enjoyed almost every single minute of the Colorado-West Virginia contest (although watching Cody Hawkins throw so much still makes me nauseous), and K-State's victory is a sign of improvement. Both games could be a signal that maybe the bottom half of the North is not as far behind as I had originally planned, but I think this will be the week that Big 12 fans will find out for sure.
